Hi, I’m Dr. Jaco Theron, a veterinarian with a heart for animals, a passion for preventative care, and a growing curiosity for holistic wellness. I work primarily with dogs, cats, and some exotic animals, and over time, I’ve become increasingly inspired to explore how natural solutions, like essential oils, can complement conventional veterinary care and improve quality of life for the animals I treat.

In the photo, from left to right, you’ll see my mom, René Pretorius; two of our incredible mentors, Dr. Danielle Daniel and Kierston Kirschbaum; and me. Each of these women are fellow Wellness Advocates and has played a meaningful role in shaping the heart and direction of this journey.

My mom is the heart of our family. A homemaker whose core value is caring for others. Whether she’s supporting my sister and brother-in-law with raising my two young nephews or simply creating a warm, nurturing space for those around her, she leads with love. Her deep commitment to family wellness is the foundation of Thrive Path for People, where she focuses on empowering others with natural tools and holistic living.

Together, we’ve created Thrive Path Collective, a vision and a community for people who don’t want to merely survive, but truly thrive. At the center of this mission is a desire to live in alignment: with our values, our purpose, and nature’s wisdom.

 

We’ve partnered with dōTERRA and are building a business rooted in their Certified Pure Tested Grade (CPTG) essential oils. This allows us to serve both people and animals in meaningful ways. I lead the Thrive Path for Pets, using safe, evidence-based approaches to support animal wellness through essential oils and holistic care.

 

But Thrive Path Collective is more than a single path. It’s a growing ecosystem. We’ve intentionally left room for future branches, new collaborations, and expanding impact as our community evolves.
